A price needs a place. And a clock.

One venue’s last trade is a sampled observation, not a universal price.

  1. Identify

Match the asset, currency pair and trading venue.

  2. Observe

Keep the trade time separate from the collection time.

  3. Compare

Use the same units and a defined window before calculating change.

Before you concludeRead the pair, venue and exact trade time together.

The reference’s opening tape includes BTC, LTC, XLM, DOGE and PEPE. Our daily collector currently supplies validated BTC/USD and LTC/USD last-trade snapshots. The other three remain named research lines, with no invented quote or daily return.

A price needs a trading pair, a venue and an observation time. The time we fetched a response is a separate field. A daily issue preserves both; it cannot remain a live terminal after publication.

Read the ratios carefully

A BTC/LTC price ratio compares two prices. It does not describe the amount a trader would actually receive after spread, fees and slippage. Use prices from the same cutoff and a stated venue before even calculating an illustrative ratio.

A 24-hour return also needs a defined starting observation. We do not turn a single last trade into a daily-change percentage or reuse the reference’s morning prices as today’s prices.

The five-asset watch

BTC and LTC have dated snapshots in the latest issue. XLM settlement activity, DOGE merged mining and PEPE token identity have dedicated research coverage. Their price fields remain unavailable until a specific source and parser are accepted.

Saved observations are dated records, not continuously live values. Software releases retain their original publication dates. Holdings do not establish fund flows; rates and market access require separate current checks.

  • Five rows transcribed from the supplied design, not collected or revalidated by this website. Source S22 is the earlier October 2 report; a direct quote venue and original response are not established by this PDF.
  • These are morning prices, not afternoon or current execution prices. The PDF displays 1 BTC buys 1,237.90 LTC and 1 LTC buys 311.87 XLM, calculated from that same morning snapshot. Ratios ignore spread, fees and slippage.
  • The current daily collector separately samples venue-specific BTC/USD and LTC/USD last trades. Its observations must not be mixed with these historical figures or used to imply validated 24-hour returns.
